Limb-itLess

Using gait analysis, pain-point analysis, and principles of biomechanics and biomaterials, Limb-itless set out to redesign the ankle and foot of a transtibial (below the knee) prosthesis. Our goals were to create a better walking and running motion as well as restore some of the natural spring and recoil in the amputees gait. 3D printing and basic machining was also used to create a proof-of concept prototype.
